In today’s increasingly complex business landscape, the field of accounting is constantly evolving, adapting to new technologies, standards, tax codes, and laws.
Our Master of Science in Accounting is designed to support your entry and advancement in professional accounting. It also prepares you for a career in a wide range of business environments, including investment banking, financial consulting, and corporate work.
Our program, directed by Dr. Wendy J. Bailey, boasts a 100 percent job placement rate, with 75 percent joining Big Four firms (Deloitte, Ernst & Young, KPMG, and PricewaterhouseCoopers) or other national firms, with the rest joining highly regarded regional and local accounting firms or corporations. Historically, the CPA Exam pass rate is also high.
Admission, Tuition, and Financial Aid
To be admitted, you must have earned a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, including prerequisites in Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, Intermediate Accounting, and preferably, Taxation and/or Auditing. Additionally, all non-domestic applicants are required to take the Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT).
All applicants are automatically considered for a scholarship with no additional forms required. Notifications will be made by late February. Two competitive graduate assistantships (10 hours per week) are also available.
Average net tuition after scholarships and need-based financial assistance for 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 was approximately $24,500. Net tuition for 2025-2026 is expected to be comparable.
Program Requirements
A total of 32 credits must be completed. Emphasizing both theoretical and technical elements, the program offers the most up-to-date courses in the industry, including data analytics, accounting research, CPA exam review, and systems auditing.

Founded in 1993, the Master of Science in Accounting program at ºìÐÓÊÓƵ is rooted in the college’s liberal arts and sciences tradition. Our program is small, flexible, and designed to meet your individual needs.
Every year, ºìÐÓÊÓƵ holds a highly successful Meet the Firms event, with accounting firms and corporations on site to meet M.S. students and accounting upperclassmen in preparation for internships and jobs.
