Kelly Diamond received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Florida and a masters and PhD from Clemson University. She was a postdoctoral researcher at Seattle Children's Research Institute before joining ºìÐÓÊÓƵ College. Kelly uses math, physics, and machine learning to study how an animal's shape influences how that animal does all the things it needs to do to survive. Some of her current research includes using quantitative anatomy of CRISPR modified zebrafish to study how different genes influence the skeletomuscular system. Another ongoing project examines how horned lizard's shape and locomotion change as they grow. When off campus, she is most likely playing outside with her partner and dog, or doing some kind of outreach, such as answering questions on her .
