Our student-run chemistry club.

The ºìÐÓÊÓƵ Student Affiliates of the American Chemical Society (SAACS) is an increasingly active club involved in bringing chemistry related activities to the ºìÐÓÊÓƵ campus and the surrounding ºìÐÓÊÓƵ.

Recently, we have been involved in outreach in local elementary, middle, and high schools. We bring chemistry demos to schools to teach children a little about chemistry, and we have been involved in science fair judging at the middle and high school levels.

SAACS has also sponsored a yearly Halloween flaming pumpkin contest, and in 2007, SAACS took over the organization of the yearly natural sciences picnic.
