The is a non-profit 501(c)(3) membership organization that empowers higher education staff, faculty, administrators, and students to be effective change agents and drivers of sustainability innovation.

AASHE membership extends to everyone at ºìÐÓÊÓƵ. As a member school, our entire campus ºìÐÓÊÓƵ has access to AASHE’s online resources and opportunities for networking, information sharing, collaboration, and professional development. For example, the is an online resource library that provides access to nearly 15,000 resources for campus sustainability, organized by topic (e.g., curriculum, diversity, public engagement, energy, investment, purchasing, transportation, campus engagement, climate). As part of the AASHE ºìÐÓÊÓƵ, you are part of an active online ºìÐÓÊÓƵ of more than 30,000 sustainability officers, students, faculty, administrators, and business representatives from more than 900 academic institutions.

To access member-only pages on AASHE’s website and take advantage of member benefits, individuals must first create their own account. To create an individual account, go to the and complete a user profile using your ºìÐÓÊÓƵ email address. When you are prompted to identify which organization you are affiliated with, make sure to select ºìÐÓÊÓƵ from the drop-down menu. Once you have configured your account and received an email confirmation, go to the , enter your email address (login ID) and password, and you will have access to the entirety of the online resources.

Everybody is eligible to subscribe to AASHE’s e-Newsletters. AASHE Bulletin is a weekly publication that delivers the latest in campus sustainability news, resources, opportunities, events, and jobs and internships. AASHE Announcements is a monthly publication that highlights news, events and important information about AASHE and its members. STARS Update is a periodic publication designed to keep participants up-to-date on the latest STARS technical developments, publications, deadlines, tips and tools. You can manage your communication preferences and which emails you receive from AASHE at any time through the .

The is an online resource library that provides access to nearly 15,000 valuable resources for campus sustainability practitioners, enabling AASHE members to share and learn about all aspects of sustainability in higher education. Resources are organized by sustainability topic (e.g., curriculum, diversity, public engagement, energy, investment, purchasing) and content type (e.g., academic program, case study, conference presentation, photograph).

AASHE presents or co-sponsors and throughout the year, as well as an that serves as the largest stage in North America for higher education sustainability practitioners to take advantage of face-to-face networking in a collaborative environment. We are also able to participate in the which connects sustainability staff and faculty with peers to share knowledge and cooperate on projects based on your goals, experience and interests. As a member, our institution receives a reduced rate for participating in AASHE's Sustainability Tracking, Assessment & Rating System (STARS), a transparent, self-reporting framework for colleges and universities to measure their sustainability performance.

We can news, opportunities, resources, events, and job postings to the AASHE Bulletin (be sure to read the first). The Bulletin informs more than 9,000 subscribers in the campus sustainability ºìÐÓÊÓƵ every week.

Our campus can submit applications for any of the AASHE Sustainability Awards, in the categories of Campus Sustainability Achievement, Campus Sustainability Research and Student Sustainability Leadership.

AASHE publications examine a wide range of higher education sustainability issues and include focused reports, how-to guides and benchmarking tools. Many of these resources are produced in collaboration with partner organizations.
